Location
Enjoy a 15 minute scenic flight departing Port Arthur where you will have stunning aerial views of Mt Wellington and Hobart, Eaglehawk Neck and the Tasman Sea Cliffs to the South.
Helicopter flight departs from the Port Arthur Heli Base. As you take flight be sure to have your camera at the ready as the beautiful sights come into view. The helicopter has specially designed windows to ensure that passengers have increased visibility throughout the flight. Marvel at the rugged coastline and the Tasman National Park below. Catch a glimpse of the sea stacks - 'the lantern' and 'the candlestick' that are popular with adventurous rock climbers and abseilers.
The pilot will provide narration throughout the flight pointing out the beautiful coastal sights as you approach Fortescue Bay, Denmans Cove, Cape Hauy and the Three Capes Track. This scenic flight is suitable activity for the whole family and will leave you wanting to discover more of the Tasman Island when you are back on firm ground.
