Stand Up Paddle Boarding is one of the easiest and most popular water activities in the world. Learn how to stand up paddle in Byron Bay on a 2.5 hour small group lesson. No experience is necessary as you are here to learn how to safely enter and exit the water as well as the best way to stand, control and steer the board through the calm waters. The wide boards, paddle and calm river water further assists you in maintaining your balance in the water. You will be up on your feet in minutes as this is an activity that anyone can master. Byron Bay's Brunswick River is a playground for many marine life and you may encounter dolphins, sea turtles and sea birds throughout the lesson.
Begin your lesson at our check-in centre in Byron Bay where you will be taken to the stand-up paddle location. All equipment is supplied including boards, paddles and rash vests or wetsuits. Stand up paddleboard lessons are suitable for everyone 12 years and above. Lessons are held between 8 am and 6 pm and are scheduled according to appropriate river tides. Inclusions

- Meet at 5/11 Fletcher Street, Byron Bay and we will transfer you to and from our SUP location.
What To Bring
- All you need to bring along is your swimwear, a towel, water and a hat. It is not compulsory to have a hat or water, but it is recommended in summer. We provide all equipment ( SUP board, paddle, wetsuit, rash vest, sunscreen and zinc)

Cancellation Policy

We SUP in all weather providing it is safe. If the conditions are unsafe, then we will reschedule the lesson. If we change the time and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a refund. Otherwise there are no refunds, transfers to other people, or cancellations.

If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean forfeiture of that lesson.
